About Us

The content on this page is generated by a group of  5 individuals that collectively have over 100 years in the microscope industry. Our expert insight is based on our history with certain brands/make/models. All information provided on this website is from our own hands on experience with servicing and selling microscopes, combined with customer feedback.

We sell and service microscopes for all applications from middle/high school level microscopes to industrial microscopes to high end fluorescence research microscopes. We are constantly at customer sites and we have firsthand experience that allows us to see the pros and cons of certain products. We know and understand that purchasing a microscope(s) is something that many people do not get the opportunity to do everyday let alone every few years. We also know and understand that the market is over-saturated by various ” brands” that can make purchasing a microscope a very stressful and daunting task. What many customers do not know is that like cars microscopes are highly configurable, you have a base model and then can have different parts added or removed which affect the cost, just like a car. You need to pay close attention as just one part such as different objectives make a large difference in the cost of a microscope. On top of this, another aspect that adds confusion to buying a microscope is that most microscopes come from China today, and the factories in China copy each other.  You will see many microscopes that look identical in a picture. With some of these if you know what to look for you can tell that two microscopes you are comparing are not the same. Unfortunately some are 100% identical in a picture, but when you get a hands on feel, or look through the instrument you begin to see the differences.
